    She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Myron E. Cannon; her parents, Albert and Edith Zuspann; brother, Albert Raymond Zuspann; and stepbrother, William Schatz.
    She was born October 2, 1920, in Posey County, Indiana. Rosemary was a [1939?] graduate of Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville and later attended Evansville College, now the University of Evansville. Rosemary excelled in music, winning numerous awards in statewide competitions. She was an accomplished cellist, and was an early member of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra.
    She was a lifelong Christian, active for many years in choir at St. Lucas Church of Christ and later at East Side Christian and First Christian, all in Evansville. She served as a deaconess, a Cub Scout den mother, a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.
    She is survived by stepmother, Clara Zuspann, 104 years of age, living at Good Samaritan Home of Evansville.
    She also leaves to cherish her memory a son, Michael E. Cannon of Evansville; daughter, Patricia Cannon Childs of Nashville, Tenn., and five grandchildren, Michael E. Cannon II and wife, Lisa of Newburgh, Christi Ann Allen and Jamie, William M. Cannon and wife, Jessica of Evansville, Jeremy M. Childs and wife, Jennifer of Nashville, Tenn., Jessica L. Childs of Pasadena, California, and also seven great-grandchildren.
    The family would like to acknowledge the loving care and support Rosemary received the past four years from Fanny and Joseph Laoyan and the staff at Long Hollow Terrace, Hendersonville, Tenn.
    Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Friends may visit Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. Family and friends will share a Service of Remembrance at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Alexander East Chapel. Interment will be in the Garden of Praying Hands at Alexander Memorial Park.
    Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Residence at Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203.
