    I Pierce Coady of Monroe County State of Iowa being of lawful age and sound and disposing mind and memory do make declare and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit:
    FIRST:-— I direct that all my just debts expense of last sickness and funeral expenses be paid out of any money credits or personal property I may have at the time of my death.
    That a suitable monument be erected at my grave the cost of the same to he determined by my wife and children.
    SECOND:-— The remainder and residue of my personal property monies and credits after the payment of the items above stated I will and bequeath unto my children Mrs Ellen Judge, Mrs Kate O'Brien, Mrs Anna Roan, Mrs. Bridget Winslow, Mrs Mary Roach, Lawrence B. Coady, John T Coady, James E. Coady and Patrick Coady to he divided between them share and share alike regardless of any advancements made to any of them by me during my life time.
    THIRD:-— I give and bequeath unto my wife Ann Coady the following described real estate situated in the County of Monroe State of Iowa, to-wit:—-
    The South east quarter (¼) of Section Ten (10) the North east quarter (¼) of the North East Quarter (¼) of Section fifteen (15) all in Township Seventy One (71) North of Range Eighteen (18) West of the 5th P.M., to have and hold during her life time only. I do hereby appoint my son Lawrence B. Coady as trustee to manage said real estate rent and collect the rents for the some keep up repairs and pay the taxes out of the proceds thereof and to pay the balance over to my said wife during her lifetime.
    FOURTH:-—Upon the death of my said wife, or should she die before my death then I will devise and bequeath all the above described real estate to my children above named to be divided among them share and share alike regardless or any advances made to any of
    them by me.
    I hereby appoint my son Lawrence B. Coady as executor or this my last will and testament and direct that upon written consent of a majority of my heirs he may act without bonds.

    KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
    That I Pierce Coady ot the County of Monroe and State or Iowa, do hereby make declare and publish the following codicil to my last will and testament heretoforemade to-wit:
    I direct that my executor Lawrence H. Coady pay out or any personal property or monies and credits I may have at the time of my death the sum of one hundred dollars for masses for the repose of my soul.
    The same to be paid to such priests as my said executor may select.
