Her married name was Hartnett.1 
More research is needed. The first three children were b. in the US (1871 census). Honorah and Maragret were b. NB. Honorah's birth record (a manuscript transcription) names Mary Toomey as her mother. Margaret's birth record (also a transcription) names Mary Sweeny as her mother. This may be a transcription error. In The Story of Melrose, p. 22: Jeremiah Hartnett was one of the last [1850] of the Irish settlers. "They could not even find room for him in the Village, so he settled near Port Elgin."2
