William and William. William Tremper and Anne Tappen (no marriage record found) had at least seven children between 1796 and 1809, including John McGregor Tremper, baptized in 1802, clearly named for the husband of Annatje Tremper. William Tremper and Catharine Delameter (no marriage record found) had at least four children between 1802 and 1811, with their first daughter, baptized in 1807, named Catharine Elmendorf Tremper, with baptismal sponsors Conrad E Elmendorf and Catharine Tremper. From records it would appear that Arrantje and Catharine were sisters, but of which William?2
