    Ellen M. Tremper, 92, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 1, 2010, at the Heritage Center in Evansville, Ind.
    Ellen's life revolved around her family. She gave unselfishly and unconditionally whenever she saw the need. Ellen enjoyed going to bingo with her friends. She also enjoyed working in the garden.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Ila Blackford, her husband, Vernon Tremper in 1994, brothers, Garland and Bill Blackford, and sisters, Dorothy Moore and Helen Hardin.
    Surviving Ellen are five children, Don Tremper (Sandy) Boonville, Ind., Jim Tremper (Sue), Evansville, Ind., Vickie Brooks (Jim), Poplar Grove, Ill., Bob L. Tremper (Cathy), Chandler, Ind., Jeff Tremper, Boonville, Ind.; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel.
    Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Boonville, Ind. Friends may call today, May 4, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday 1 p.m. until service time at Koehler Funeral Home-Boonville Chapel.
