He was born December 28, 1975 in New Castle, a son of Dane and Opal Crowhorn Bridges. He was a life-long resident of New Castle and a 1994 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and also attended Ivy Tech in Richmond. He had worked for the New Castle Correctional Facility and enjoyed acting and theatrical productions and had performed in several local civic plays. He is survived by his wife, Caroline DeLaney Bridges, whom he married January 7, 2006; a daughter, Talia Bridges; a step-son, Jesse Lee; his mother and step-father, Opal and Larry Watts of Springport; a grandmother, Ophelia Davenport of New Castle; a brother, David (wife: Jill) Bridges of New Castle; two step-brothers, Michael (wife: Lavina) Watts of Yorktown and Kevin Watts of Muncie; a step-sister, Shannon Watts of Muncie; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Father, Dane in 1997; paternal grandparents, Walter and Geraldine “Geri” Bridges; and maternal grandfather, Charles Crowhorn. Services are 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Rob White officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery."
