What we know: John and Hannah Bridges came to Ohio about 1790 with four children. They later had a fifth child born in Ohio. The cemetery memorials for both John and Hannah have "Born in Mass." He is listed in Patricia Law Hatcher's Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots. The FindAGrave page for John has "Revolutionary War Veteran" added by the Hamilton County Genealogical Society. Portions of today's Hamilton County, Ohio, where the Bridges family settled, were part of the Virginia Militray Tract.
