SHEDIAC, Aug. 27— The funeral of George Donnovan [sic], of Shediac Bridge, took place at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Grand Digue, Tuesday morning and was largely attended. The rector, Rt. Rev. Mgr. Philip L Belliveau, sang a high mass of requiem. The pallbearers were Joseph D. Gallant, Fred D. Gallant, Amedee Gallant, Joseph P. Poirier, Alphonse P. Babineau and Edward C. Wryn, the latter of Moncton. There were numerous spiritual remembrances. Interment was in Grand Digue cemetery.
Rev. Sister Celestine, of St. Vincent's Convent, Saint John, is a daughter of the late Mr. Donnovan. Rev. Father Ryan or Red Bank, Northumberland county is a nephew.
