"Geertie, daughter of Lambert Moll, of Bushwick. She was born 1648. Her older sister Marritie, also born here, married, in 1646, Gerrit Hendrickse Blauvelt, from Deventer." This would mean that Lambert was in New Netherland no later than 1628; the earliest record of Lambert in the colony is 1641, and there is no explanation offered by Riker. The marriage is recorded on p. 14 of Purple's Reformed Dutch Church Marriages, as written by Riker.
