He was living with his son Commodore when death came. He was united to Elizabeth JOHNSON and to this union was born 8 children, namely: Sarah, Theodore, Thomas, Mary, Logan, Richard, Eliza, Charles. He afterwards married Sarah P. Thomas and to this union 5 children were born. Many years ago he professed a hope in Christ and united with the General Baptist church to which he was faithful until the death angel came and called his spirit home.
