Narrative, citing Kanabec County Times 31 Aug 1933: "Mrs. Wm. Wolford, a resident of this county for the past forty years, passes away very suddenly at her home in Hillman township, Sunday morning,August 27, at 6 o'clock. Death was caused by a heart attack.
    Mrs. Wolford, who was born in Michigan, was 60 years old June 1,1933. Before her marriage to Mr. William Wolford,in this village June 9, 1897, she was Miss Emma Palmers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.B. Palmers.
    Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Wolford, three of whom are now living. They are Mrs. Sherman Carroll of Aitkin, Raymond Wolford of Minneapolis, and Clarence at home. Besides the bereaved husband and children, Mrs. Wolford is survived by one sister, Mrs. Frank Graves of this village and one brother Jesse, of Shovel Lake, Minnesota, and six grand children."
