    James M. Grieco, age 89, of Hockessin, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2014 at his home at Windsor Place.Born in Wilmington, Jim was the son of the late Vincenzo and Louise (Zola) Grieco. He served his country proudly in the US Army in the European Theatre during World War II. Later, he worked for Wilmington Truck Rental and Hertz until his retirement. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church. His wife of 67 years, Albina “Alby” (Kielbasa) Grieco, predeceased him in August. Jim will be dearly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael A. and Cathy of Hockessin; his daughter and son-in-law, Jane E. and Richard Herrmann of Wilmington; four grandsons, Keith Herrmann and his wife Megan, Kevin Herrmann, James Grieco and his wife, Erin, and Joseph Grieco and his wife, Katie; and three great grandchildren, Cooper Herrmann, Abigail Grieco and Gianna Grieco. Also surviving is his brother, Eugene A. Grieco.

    Albina E. Grieco, "Alby," age 86, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Windsor Place surrounded by her family. Born in Milford, DE, Alby was the daughter of the late Andrew and Kathryn (Karnas) Kielbasa. For 30 years, she worked as a secretary for Dr. Charles Rickards before her retirement. She was among the original members of St. Catherine of Siena Church, her parish for over 50 years. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Alby will be dearly missed by her husband of 67 years, James Grieco; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael A. and Cathy of Hockessin; her daughter and son-in-law, Jane E. and Richard Herrmann of Wilmington; four grandsons, Keith Herrmann and his wife Megan, Kevin Herrmann, James Grieco and his wife, Erin, and Joseph Grieco and his wife, Katie; and three great grandchildren, Cooper Herrmann, Abigail Grieco and Gianna Grieco. Also surviving are her sisters, Joanne Wajda and her twin, Rosalie Ragan; and several nieces and nephews.
