Marr., in Sumner Co., 25 Dec 1786, Elizabeth Neely (say 1666 - 13 Dec 1833), dau. of Capt. Alex Neely and Elizabeth Montgomery; George and Elizabeth had ten children, two of whom d. in infancy. One son, William Montgomery Blackmore, marr. Rachel Jackson, dau. of Redmond Dillon Barry, and they had only one child who survived infancy, Hon. James W Blackmore of Gallatin.
