The Times, Moncton, 3 Feb 1890. :William CRONIN s/o Michael CRONIN, who lives in what was formerly known as the Matthews place on Wesley Street, was killed in the woods at Shulee, N.S. Friday eve. Word was sent Friday night to the young man's father and he went down and brought the body here, interment taking place yesterday in the cemetery at Irishtown where the family formerly resided. The deceased, age 19, is said to be the fifth grown member of the family deceased within a few years. (see original for account of accident).
