At Bonne Terre, Mo., on Wednesday. November 30, 1904, of consumption, Mrs. Robt. C. Deggendorf, née O'Mara, aged 39 years.
The remains of Mrs. Deggendorf were brought to Potosi, her former home, at noon Friday last for burial, the funeral taking place from the home of Mr. Eugene O'Mara, brother of the deceased, with services at St. James Catholic, church by Rev. Father Kanning, of Bonne Terre, assisted by Revs. Father Noonan of De Soto and Mullen of Potosi; interment in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Deggendorf was the youngest and last daughter of Mrs. Mary O'Mara of Potosi and before her marriage some fifteen years ago, was one of the most popular and charming young ladies of this place. She leaves a husband two chiIdren, a son and daughter, besides the mother and brother above named. Both in her late home and in the home of her youth she had a host of friends who view her early departure from life as a personal sorrow, mitigated only by the knowledge that in death she finds the rest from suffering she could no longer hope for in life, and in whose sympathy with the bereaved family the Journal joins.
