He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Mill Cove, he was a Stock and Control Officer at Moncton Supply Depot # 5, and retired from DSS Ottawa. Ed will be sadly missed by his wife, Marguerite (Orchard); daughter, Nancy Gordon (late Donald), Ottawa, ON; sons, James Delahunt (Barbara), Moncton, Stephen Delahunt (Donna), Orleans, ON; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Rita Murphy (Late Aubrey), Quispamsis, Anne Provost (Late Gaetan Noel), Mississauga, ON, Sister Florence Delahunt, Saint John, Sister Maureen Delahunt, Emmitsburg, Maryland, brother Dr. Austin Delahunt (Kathleen), Halifax, NS; several Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his 1st wife, Mary (Noonan) Delahunt in March 1986. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday October 9, 2 to 4, 7 to 9.
