She was born on August 15, 1918, in Waterborough, NB, the daughter of the late A. Scott and Cora (Mott) Orchard. Marguerite will be forever in the hearts and survived by her sister Ella Thomas of Webb City, Missouri, sister-in-law Kathleen Orchard of Waterborough, nephew Neil and Linda Orchard, niece Carol and Dwight Stuart, niece Irene and Carl Thorne and niece Barb and Randy Ekstrom; nine great nieces and nephews and the Delahunt Family. She was predeceased by her brothers Ralph and Clarence and nephew Frederick Thomas. For 37 years Marguerite was a dedicated worker for the Canadian Forces at Depot # 5 in Moncton, NB. She spent many happy years at her home in Waterborough and had a great love for her family and church and community. She is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Luke's Anglican Church, Young's Cove, NB, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Donations to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Young's Cove, or the memorial of donor's choice, would be appreciated. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Mill Cove, he was a Stock and Control Officer at Moncton Supply Depot # 5, and retired from DSS Ottawa. Ed will be sadly missed by his wife, Marguerite (Orchard); daughter, Nancy Gordon (late Donald), Ottawa, ON; sons, James Delahunt (Barbara), Moncton, Stephen Delahunt (Donna), Orleans, ON; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Rita Murphy (Late Aubrey), Quispamsis, Anne Provost (Late Gaetan Noel), Mississauga, ON, Sister Florence Delahunt, Saint John, Sister Maureen Delahunt, Emmitsburg, Maryland, brother Dr. Austin Delahunt (Kathleen), Halifax, NS; several Nieces and Nephews.
