He was born in the year 1741 the 10th of December and died in the year 1826 the 23rd of October. His age was 83 years 10 months and 15 days." Ken Sell also notes that estate papers were filed in Nov 1825, so the date of death would be 1825 rather than 1826 as inscribed.
