Almost certainly brothers (and two of the sons of Gerrit Reyerse) as both were sponsors for baptisms of children of Herbert Jacobse Van Deu an unknown person sen and Marritje Gerritse. This would suggest that Marritje was their sister. Elbert was identified as the eldest son in the will of his father.1
