    "Sister Marjorie Crean Wednesday Mass for the former Sister Teresa Martina, Sister of Charity of St. Elizabeth Sister Marjorie Crean (formerly Sister Teresa Martina), a Sister of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, at Saint Anne Villa, Convent Station, N.J., at the age of 92. The wake for Sister Marjorie Crean will be held in Saint Anne Villa, Convent Station, rom 2 to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 6 p.m. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, in Holy Family Cemetery, Convent Station." Sister Marjorie was born in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of Martin and Bridget (Griffin) Crean. She entered the Sisters of Charity on March 25, 1941, and was a member for 73 years. Sister Marjorie graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth, Convent Station, with a B.S. degree in elementary education and from Fairfield University, Fairfield, Conn., with an MA degree in education and administration. Sister Marjorie served in the education ministry in New Jersey, and in education and pastoral ministry in Connecticut. In New Jersey, she taught at St. Mary School, Jersey City; St. Mary Elementary School, Dumont; and St. Paul School, Clifton. In Connecticut, she taught at St. John School, New Have,n and was principal and teacher in St. Mary School, Waterbury. Sister Marjorie worked in support personal-radiation therapy and in pastoral ministry at the Hospital of St. Raphael, New Haven, Conn. She moved to Saint Anne Villa, Convent Station, in 2006, where she resided until her death. She is survived by the Sisters of Charity; her cousins, Richard and Gradida Teahan, and Florence (Bunny) Sullivan, wife of the late John Sullivan. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary E. Crean."
