She was married for 49 years to Stanley William "Dutch" Eble who preceded her in death in 1987. Her only child, Janet Wayne Byerly, also preceded her in death in 2006. Mary is survived by her son-in-law C. Warren Byerly; Grandchildren, Jennifer Wayne Byerly, William Miles Byerly and his wife Sandy; Two great-grandchildren, Nathanael Wayne and Jacob Norman Byerly; Several nieces and nephews.
    Mary devoted her life to her husband and their farm, her daughter, grandchildren and the rural community in which she lived. She was a 75 year graduate of Rockport High School, attended Lockyear Business College, and was a 63 year member of the Eureka Chapter # 132 the "Order of the Eastern Star" and a life member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
