Pieter Cornelise Vielè [sic] settled, ca. 1678, in the Second Flat of the Schenectady Patent; he "died early and his wife, Jacquemina Swart, married Benonny Arentse Van Hoeck, who was killed at Schenectady, in 1690. Afterwards
    she married Cornell's Vyohout, of Ulster county, and in 1699 they conveyed her share of this flat to her son, Lewis Viele."
    p. 182. Bennony Van Hoek "was son of Arent Isaacse Van Hoek of Beverwyck; marrying Jacquemina Swart, widow of Pieter Cornelise Viele, he settled in Schenectady. He is not known to have possessed any real estate save what he acquired by his marriage."
