  2. [S520] VWH, Which Elizabeth Campion married James McBride on 14 October 1882? Elizabeth Ellen, dau. of Alexander and Margaret, or Elizabeth Margaret, dau. of Michael and Hele [Ellen]? The actual register entry has not been seen. The index has, simply, "Eliza Campion". This genealogy has selected the dau. of Michael and Ellen [Helen] based on the record of another marriage. At the marriage of Mary Ellen Campion and William McDonald, for which we have the actual register entry, the witnesses are James McBride and Elizabeth Campion. If these are indeed the subject married couple, then Elizabeth would presumably be the sister of Mary Ellen. The only Mary Ellen Campion we have found is in fact a daughter of Michael and Helen [Ellen]. Thus, we have the wife of James McBride as the dau. of Michael and Helen [Ellen].
