His case was postponed till the next court day, probably because of illness on his part. At any rate, we know that he died soon afterward, aged fifty-six; and although we do not know the exact day of his death, it must have been between July 25, 1674, and September 26th of the same year, for on the latter date Sara was spoken of as Isaack's widow."
