"So far as the records definitely show, Thomas was the only child of John and Susanna Johnson. But undoubtedly they had other children. The marriage records of Andover show that Mary Johnson married Ephraim Davis,1660; Hannah m. Samuel Hutchins 1662; Susanna m. Walter Wright,1667; and Joanna m.Moses Haggett, 1671; Stephen m. Elizabeth Dane, 1661; Timothy m.Rebecca Aslett, 1674; and William m. Sarah Lovejoy,1678, and it is not an unreasonable assumption to entertain the idea that all these were children of John and Susanna Johnson."2
