He had served as a general practitioner in Lawrence for 15 years before coming to the sanitarium six years ago.
Dr. Carroll leaves a wife, Louise (Cosgrove); a son, Peter W ; a brother, John D. of Melrose, N.B ; and 8 sister, Mrs. Fred P. Shea of Moncton, N.B.
