    DANVERS — M. Louise Carroll, 96, of Danvers, died peacefully Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008 at the Masconomet Health Care Center following an extended illness. She was the wife of the late Dr. William J. Carroll.
    Born in Maine, she was the daughter of the late James and Amanda (Farnum) Cosgrove. Louise was a graduate of Brookline High School and the Essex County Training School.
    She was employed as a nurse at the Essex County Sanatorium.
    Mrs. Carroll was a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish and enjoyed to travel.
    She leaves a son, Peter Carroll of Florida and her nieces and cousins. She was the sister of the late Florence Goldthwaite.
    ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Danvers. Visitation will be held prior at the Mackey Funeral Home on Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers.
