    Funeral services were held in the Klawitter chapel here today (Thursday) for Mrs. Amos J. Capps, 64, who died Monday at Lincoln. The Reverend R.L. Williams of the Presbyterian church officiated. Burial was made in the Nelson cemetery.
    Mrs. Capps was a native of Lawrence and the family lived in Nelson for many years before moving to Lincoln about 20 years ago.
    Eva Lenora Shelton, daughter of George E. and Ida Lenora Leeds Shelton, was born June 24, 1888, at Lawrence, Nebr. Following a very short illness she passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 1953, at the age of 64 years, 6 months and 26 days.
    On Nov. 5, 1906, at Nelson, Nebr., she was united in marriage to Amos Jefferson Capps. To this union was born four sons and one daughter. The daughter died in infancy.
    She and her family were member of the Evangelical Church, later transfering (sic) their membership to the Presbyterian Church.
    She moved with her family to Lincoln over twenty years ago where she resided until her death.
    Two sisters, Ethel and Nettie, preceded her in death.
    Surviving are her husband; four sons, Dale Capps of Lincoln, Nebr.; Ivan Capps of Falls City, Nebr.; Clifford Capps of St. Louis, Mo., and Floyd Capps of Glendale, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Edith Ringer of Oregon; an uncle, Ed Leeds of Nelson, Nebr., and ten grandchildren.
